It may seem counter intuitive, but scotch and curry are an amazing combination. The intense savory flavors in curry are strong enough to stand up to the peaty, oaky character of scotch, resulting in a well-balanced, incredibly complex cocktail that’s both easy to make and very, very drinkable. Aim for mid- to upper-middle grade scotch with a bit of peat smoke to it .

- Fill a glass with ice
- Add 2 oz scotch
- Add a dash of bitter
- Fill glass with sparkling water
- Put 4 or 5 drops of Cardamon bitter on top of the cocktail
- Garnish with a lemon twist
