A simple and festive take on the classic Negroni. In this recipe, we switch the gin for tequila and add a little dry vermouth to create a richer and more complex cocktail.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 oz of Tequila
- 0.5 oz of Sweet Vermouth
- 0.5 of Dry Vermouth
- 1 oz of Bitter liqueur or Aperitivo (Campari is commonly used here)
- Garnished with a Filthy Food Italian Cherry and an orange twist
PREPARATION
- Add ingredients to you mixing glass, previously filled with ice;
- Stir for at least 45 seconds, when you feel the ice is slightly melting;
- Drop carefully a large ice cube at the bottom of your glass;
- With a strainer, pour the mix into your glass;
- Skewer a cherry (or two!) onto a pick, lay on top of the glass, add and orange twist and voilà!
