Ohishi line impresses by a new dimension of blade hardness. This is resulting from the unsuspected lasting and very hard ZDP189 steel, which makes the edge durable and does not need frequent sharpening. The mosaic pin in the middle of the handle is exceptional and gives these knives the "special touch”.
Core: ZDP189 steel, hardened to HRC64-65.
Cladding: Stainless steel.
Finishing: Migaki (polished).
Handle: Black Micarta wood, triple riveted tang. Special mosaic pin in the middle

Before shipping, each glass and item is carefully and individually checked to be sure that everything is in perfect condition. Glasses are then protected with bubble wrap and other shock absorbing products.
Unless otherwise specified, all our shipping is done using the Accelerated parcel service from Canada Post.
Please be aware that some items cannot be shipped during winter months. That includes non-alcoholic beverages and spirits. Since those products don't contain alcohol, sugar or salt, the bottles freeze and have a high chance of exploding during transportation. We apologize for the inconvenience.
